Friends of Glass wins four Stevie® awards

 Gold, Silver & Bronze for FEVE’s Friends of Glass and Weber Shandwick at the

2017 International Business Awards

 Brussels, Thursday, 7th September, 2017:  FEVE, the European Glass Container Federation, and Weber Shandwick Brussels won four Stevie® Awards at the 14th Annual International Business Awards. The pan-European Friends of GlassEndless Lives of Glass” campaign won gold, silver and bronze, bringing a grand total of eight international awards for Friends of Glass since 2014.

Details about the Stevie® Award wins:

  1. PR Industrial, Video – Gold
  2. PR Innovation of the Year – Silver
  3. Marketing Campaign of the Year, Government/Institutional/Recruitment – Silver
  4. Innovation of the Year, Consumer Products – Bronze                            

Commenting on the award win, Michael Delle Selve, Senior Communications Manager at FEVE said: “This is a fantastic achievement for our national and central teams – well done! It is rewarding to see that our collective efforts to raise awareness of the positive and sustainable benefits of glass packaging are being duly recognised by our peers and the international business community.”

Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process from May through early August. This year’s winners were selected from among more than 3,900 nominations received from organisations and individuals in 60 nations.  The International Business Awards is the world’s premier business awards programme. All individuals and organisations worldwide – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small – are eligible to submit nominations. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala awards banquet at the W Hotel in Barcelona, Spain on 21 October.
